We're searching for someone with:
- Ideally, you'll have a background in commercial underwriting, with a strong preference for real estate or commercial property.
- Transferable skills welcome: Don't have direct real estate assistant underwriting experience? We are very keen to speak with individuals from:
- Real estate broking or claims backgrounds.
- Underwriting roles in High Net Worth (HNW) private clients.
- The key is your analytical mind and genuine interest in the commercial property sector!
- Analytical acumen: You're brilliant with numbers, highly numerate, and adept at dissecting complex information from various sources to make sound judgments.
- A proactive mindset: You're not one to wait to be told what to do. You're forward-thinking, take initiative, and genuinely want to get involved in shaping the future of a growing division.
- We're looking for someone with personality, confidence, and the drive to challenge, innovate, and contribute actively to team discussions.
- A solid understanding of the insurance industry, whether gained directly from an insurer, MGA, or broker.
- Problem-solving skills: You approach challenges head-on, demonstrate strong problem-solving capabilities, and are keen to find solutions.

- Hybrid Working: While training will be office-based, after induction, you'll benefit from a hybrid model. However, please note that this is primarily an office-centric role (9 am-5 pm, 5 days a week), requiring a minimum of 3 days in the office, ideally 4. Crucially, Monday-to-Wednesday attendance in the office is essential, with other days required as business needs dictate.
