A great job opportunity to join a specialist MGA in the Not for Profit, Faith, Education, and Recruitment sectors, based in Leatherhead. A chance to join a thriving organisation who have a strong track record of delivering excellent underwriting results for their A-rated Insurer partners. This role offers an opportunity to work with brokers, assess risks, provide quotations, and maintain strong business relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle renewals and mid-term adjustments in line with underwriting guidelines.
  • Set up and update policy records.
  • Respond to broker and insurer partner queries within authority limits.
  • Deliver relevant insurance products and uphold underwriting guidelines.
  • Liaise with colleagues, brokers, and insurers on coverage and pricing.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory procedures.

Experience:

  • General insurance underwriting experience, preferably in property, casualty, or financial lines.
  • Cert CII qualification or working towards it.
  • Experience working in a regulated FCA environment.
  • Knowledge of customer service best practices, compliance systems and processes, and financial management.
  • Proficiency in bespoke systems and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, adapt, and be flexible.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, listening, negotiation) at all levels.
