We are working with a leading insurance broker who is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Commercial Insurance Account Executive. Currently you will be mainly working remotely but post-lockdown the role will be client-facing, requiring an element of travel (once it safe to do so). Their head office is based in Surrey.
Primarily, the role will be to support Partners in the broking and servicing of clients across a wide variety of commercial products. You would be responsible for set a client bank and look after the all insurance needs from new business to renewal. A willingness to be open-minded and creative with regards to the harder to place and emerging risks would be of great advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Broking commercial risks and negotiating favourable terms
- Ensuring client files are up to date in line with compliance procedures: archiving all communications
- Liaising with Partners with regards to new business, renewals and policy adjustments.
- Building and maintaining relationship with insurer partners in order to secure favourable terms.

- Understanding of the importance of client confidentiality and professional discretion outside of the workplace.
- Ability to co-ordinate workload across multiple functions
- Excellent communication skills – proficient both verbally and in writing
