Private Client Claims Handler

If so, then I have a fantastic opportunity for you with a leading international broker based in Surrey! We are recruiting for a proactive, empathetic. highly organised, and client-centred Claims Handler to join their dynamic team.

In this role, you will be responsible for handling claims for High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) individuals, ensuring a smooth and efficient process from start to finish. You'll build strong relationships with your clients, understanding their specific needs and exceeding their expectations.

Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Assisting HNW and UHNW clients with submitting valid insurance claims.
  • Driving claims settlements, and negotiating effectively to achieve the best possible outcome for your clients.
  • Liaising with clients, insurers, loss adjusters and other relevant parties to ensure claims are settled efficiently.
  • Keeping clients informed of progress throughout the claims process.
  • Ensuring all claims records are complete and up to date.
  • Maintaining excellent relationships with clients, colleagues and suppliers.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • It is highly desirable that candidates have HNW/Household claims experience, although we are keen to speak to candidates with solid claims experience across other personal lines classes of insurance. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients at all levels.
  • A strong work ethic and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
