Working at the heart of our clients General Insurance department, you will be responsible for generating leads with clients requiring home and motor insurance.

 About the role:

  Ensure all scripts are followed compliantly to gain agreement from the customer to have a General Insurance quotation

  • To have the ability to adapt the script and the conversation in order to meet the customers’ needs
  • Proactively contacting customers in a competent manner
  • Ensure all key performance indicators both individually and as a team are met in relation to quality of call and quotation opportunities achieved
  • Providing accurate statistical information as required by the Outbound Team Leader
  • Prepare for each call using available details
  • Ensure that all information is updated on the relevant systems to support the sales process
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, other departments across the business and the Sales Force
  • Contribute to the goal of continually improving the quality and volume of work, maximising business opportunities wherever possible
  • Identify opportunities for improvements in productivity, customer service, sales and reduction in cost where possible
  • Building relationships with peers and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the goal of continually improving the quality of data
  • Manage the call fully by completing the appropriate administration tasks and updating records
  • Identifying and creating an opportunity for cross sells

What we’re looking for:

  • You’ll be outgoing, confident and have some call centre customer service or sales experience so you’re comfortable with negotiating and overcoming objections
  • It’s all about communication, so you will join us armed with a great engaging telephone manner
  • You will have excellent customer service and communication skills
  • In order to hit your quarterly bonus, you will be target driven and organised
  • You thrive in a KPI environment and get excited when you hit targets to secure your bonus
  • Insurance experience is not essential as full training can be provided

Hours of work

35 hour working week – split shift patterns Monday – Friday (with on Saturday worked in every 5-6 weeks from 9am-1pm) Hybrid working, so you could work the Saturdays from home

Shifts in-between 9am and 8pm (however at the moment they are working between the hours of 9am until 6pm)
