Motor Claims Quality Analyst – Hove/WFH – up to £40,000

 

Our client is actively seeking an experienced motor claims professional to join them to report to the Claims Director while managing and co-ordinating the internal/external audit and review process. Apply and interpret industry regulation, compliance standards within the claims department identifying and reporting on observed trends, developing training material to reinforce and underline excellence in claims handling.

 

Responsibilities will include and not be limited to -

Conduct fair and reasonable internal audits and provide feedback to the business on training issues and areas for improvement, both in the 6 monthly departmental audit and in the regular informal handler audits undertaken year-round

Conduct fair and reasonable external supplier audits and give realistic feedback to the supplier and to company in order to maintain or improve our working relationship and practices

Deliver internal training where required (e.g. data protection, whistleblowing, anti-money laundering)

Deliver external training to suppliers where required (eg indemnity, liability)

Keep the Claims Handling Manual updated with current handling processes

Monitor and report on rejected BACS claims payments on a monthly basis

Monitor and report on cancelled claims on a monthly basis

Monitor sanctions checks for over £25k payments to individuals on a monthly basis

Undertake an annual complaints review to ascertain areas for improvement within the claims department (may be delegated to complaints handler?)

Perform random internal text letters checks once or twice a month for layout, grammar and spelling etc  - if printed letters are sent

Reply to/be a referral point for GDPR Subject Access Requests

 

Essential Criteria

•             Minimum five years motor claims injury experience.

•             Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•             Analytical and meticulous

•             Self motivated with a willingness to learn

•             Organised with the ability to multi task and work to tight deadlines

•             Good working knowledge of Microsoft package
