As an IT assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining and keeping real-time checks on computer systems and solving any issues that may arise.
Your future employer is based in Twickenham in beautiful and spacious offices.
The IT Assistant role will be reporting to the IT manager, your duties will include:
- Installing and configuring computer networks and systems.
- Identifying and solving any network or system problems.
- Assembling new systems, budgeting for equipment, and assembly costs.
- Maintaining or upgrading software and hardware.
- Monitoring network and systems and identifying opportunities to improve performance.
- Providing network administration and support.
To be successful in this role, you will need to-
- Have a minimum of 2 years of IT experience and understanding of system problems.
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure (2+ years preferably).
- Prioritise tasks in hand and the ones on the way.
- Prompt in acting and decisions.
- Keep up to date with the latest technological trends.
- Knowledge of potential malware.
- Know-how of securing data and boosting system performance.
