We are recruiting an Internal Audit Manager to join our rapidly growing insurance client based in Guildford. Our client is on a mission to revolutionise the way insurance broking is done. The Opportunity:

Are you an internal audit pro with a keen eye for compliance? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and relish the challenge of building robust frameworks from the ground up? Then this Internal Audit Manager role working for our dynamic client could be the perfect fit!

Here's what you'll do:

  • Design, develop, and implement a comprehensive internal audit program, linking it to reward and remuneration strategies.
  • Partner with senior management to establish training and competency frameworks for the operations team.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure operational compliance.
  • Clearly communicate audit findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with various teams to uphold regulatory adherence.
  • Oversee external audits when required.
  • Monitor and maintain annual CPD training completion for the operations team.
  • While not mandatory, experience with Salesforce administration will be a plus.

What you'll bring:

  • Minimum of GCSE-level qualifications in Maths and English (Grade C or above).
  • Relevant insurance training 
  • Experience in auditing/compliance working within the insurance industry - preferably personal lines insurance.  
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Outlook.
  • Proven track record in internal audit or risk management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
