An exciting opportunity for an experienced Team Administrator/PA to join an independent insurance broker based in Twickenham. We are seeking a highly organised administrator to undertake a range of activities and provide the team with exceptional support.

We are keen to consider candidates who have strong administration experience, and it would be highly desirable if you have worked in the General Insurance, Financial Services, or Construction industry. As much as managing the position of PA you will also be dealing with documents aspects like insurance slips, and client/ insurer presentations.

With an excellent salary on offer, this role offers hybrid flexibility ideally 3 days in the office and 2 from home, Monday-Friday 9 am to 5 pm, alongside the following benefits-

To be successful in this role, you will have previous proven experience in Team Administration and Personal Assistance preferably in the insurance industry-

  • The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with clients/colleagues & suppliers.
  • Basic insurance knowledge.
  • Ability to take and deliver accurate messages.
  • The ability to prioritise & organise your own workload.
  • The ability to manage time & ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality.
  • Microsoft word, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of Acturis (advantageous).
  • Thorough knowledge of the company’s complaints procedure.
  • Thorough knowledge of the company’s procedure of renewals.

You will provide support to the wider team, contributing to the effective running of the team and in the delivery of first-class service to our customers, your responsibilities include but are not limited to-

  • Provide administration support to the team including the processing of documents, and reports, the general use of office-based packages (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) as well as secretarial support to Directors.
  • On behalf of MD and Deputy, ensure absences and team holidays are logged on in-house systems such as People HR and Construction diary.
  • Assist with the distribution of File Audit reviews to the Compliance department.
  • Maintaining and updating Construction diary.
  • Maintain paper & electronic information utilising company systems.
  • Screening telephone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate.
  • Organising and maintaining Director's diaries and making appointments where requested.
  • Organising and attending meetings, dealing with correspondence and writing letters, and taking minutes.
  • Arranging travel and accommodation.
  • Take a proactive role in your own personal development.
