Insurance MI Analyst – Sunbury in Thames – up to £40,000 doe
This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with previous experience as an MI Analyst and who wish to progress their career as a Team Leader within a growing business.
Working within a predominantly motor insurance environment you will be responsible for managing and developing a team of MI Analysts. You will also have the responsibility of producing and overseeing the production of routine MI reports and data, together with using and developing existing software including SQL and WPS (SAS equivalent) to create and develop appropriate benchmarking reports.
A priority of the role would be to assist in the design and automation of standard reports via our insurance software system.
Reporting is required to fulfil requirements for financial, regulatory and board data in addition to standard KPIs.
Essential Skills
• Educated to Degree level.
• Mathematical and analytical with a logical approach to problem solving.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft packages.
• Good knowledge of SQL or WPS (SAS) programs.
• People Management.
• Meticulous with the ability to present data accurately and well.
• Deadline focussed.
• Self Motivated.
Desirable
• Aptitude for IT.
• Motor Insurance experience.
The Company provides Underwriting, Claims and other insurance support functions to insurance companies.
The role is predominantly home based however once restrictions ease you will be required to attend our Head Office based in Sunbury. This role reports into the Business Information Manager. The team seeks to support and develop the business’ MI and reporting capability to meet the increasing demands of the Insurance market.
