As an Account Executive, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and expanding mid-corporate client relationships whilst also actively contributing to new business development. You'll work particularly closely alongside a PMI-focused account executive, ensuring a holistic approach to clients' health and protection needs.

 What you'll do:

  • Administer a portfolio of clients in respect of their Group Life contracts (while your primary focus will be Group Life, you will have exposure to Private Medical Insurance (PMI) and Critical Illness in the broader health and protection context).
  • Actively support new business opportunities by assisting with proposals, presentations, and market reviews, focusing on a full spectrum of health and protection solutions.
  • Work alongside a PMI-focused Account Executive to provide integrated solutions for clients, covering the broader health and protection landscape.
  • Liaise effectively with insurers to negotiate preferred terms for Group Life products and ensure optimal outcomes for clients, both existing and prospective.
  • Attend client meetings, representing the firm with professionalism and expertise, including new business pitches for Group Life and broader health and protection solutions.
  • Draft comprehensive recommendation reports that clearly articulate advice and solutions, tailored for both existing clients and new prospects across Group Life and other health and protection products.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients regarding their Group Life arrangements, building strong relationships and providing exceptional service.

What you'll bring:

  • A minimum of 3 years' proven experience in administering Group Life products to mid-corporate clients. 
  • A proactive mindset with an interest in identifying and supporting new business opportunities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
  • A reliable and proactive working attitude, demonstrating initiative and attention to detail.
  • A professional and client-focused approach, always striving to exceed expectations and build lasting relationships.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A collaborative mindset, working seamlessly with internal teams (especially with PMI focused colleagues) and external partners within the health and protection sector.
