Utilising your experience within commercial insurance, you are looking to develop your career working as a client handler. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of the UK’s top independent brokers business that provides a bespoke solution to a broad spectrum of commercial clients working within a large and successful commercial team based in Burgess Hill. 

On a day-to-day basis, your responsibilities as an Enterprise Client Handler include but are not limited to- 

  • Managing a portfolio of c.25 risks per month with a Premium range typically £1,000 - £20,000+
  • Working efficiently on achieving targets for retention, new business and cross-selling. 
  • Dealing with general inquiries from clients, including new business, mid-term renewals, and retention, always providing the best Customer Service. 
  • Managing policy renewals effectively and with accuracy. 
  • Drafting reports professionally and chasing clients for information. 
  • Providing support to the Client Manager and Client Executives. 
  • Draft reports professionally and chase clients for information. 

To ensure success in this role, you will ideally have built up some experience of commercial insurance and are looking to move for a fresh challenge- 

  • Building effective relationships with your clients, your team and the wider company. 
  • Striving towards achieving your goals through self-development and being unafraid to ask questions. 
  • Have a good technical understanding of Commercial products (Commercial Combined, Property Owners, Fleet, Financial Lines). 
  • Be organised, accurate and have excellent attention to detail. 
  • Be effective, confident & considerate in your communication and be able to adapt your communication style accordingly.
  • Intuitive thinking and confidence with decision-making.
  • Strong IT skills. 
  • Have a Cert CII or a genuine interest in achieving and continuing development.
  • Claims background considered.
