We are looking for 2 experienced credit controllers to join our thriving insurance client based in Twickenham.
Role and responsibilities will include
- Reconcile incoming payments, and allocate mismatches
- Initiate legal proceeding, creating particulars of claim
- Raising queries with finance company and underwriters
- Raise Shortfall Claims
- Chase due and late customer payments in-line with company policy
- Dealing with all queries relating to debt
- Record customer credit control dialogue in company system
- Enforce the agreed credit limit and maintain relevant data
- Generate and circulate weekly new account and bad payer’s reports
- Enter customer payments to accounting system
- Provide additional support to the Accounts department, as and when required
- Ad hoc duties
Essential skills and experience
- Experience with Word and Excel (intermediate level)
- Experience in the insurance industry
- Telephone experience of outbound and inbound calls
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Team player with the ability to flex requirements to meet the needs of the business
- Experience of working towards and achieving targets
