Right now, we have an exciting opportunity for a talented, bright, and highly organised Compliance Officer. The sort of professional who is always keeping abreast of important new and upcoming changes like the example above – because you innately appreciate their importance and impact in a highly-paced environment.

Reporting to the Chief Governance Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing a professional compliance service, including:

  • maintenance and communication of policies and procedures;
  • managing regulatory submissions; and
  • provide general compliance advice to the business.

Candidates will need experience of working in a compliance role within an insurance company in the UK, as well as a strong understanding of the insurance industry, the regulatory environment within which the business operates, and the regulatory requirements it must meet.

As well as commercial awareness, you should have considerable knowledge of PRA and FCA rules and regulatory best practice requirements – and how they apply in an insurance context.

The messaging involved in the role is often complex, so you’ll need to effectively and confidently communicate (in writing and verbally), always with strong attention to detail and focus on delivery.

You’ll be able to demonstrate proven organisation and analytical skills, and excellent interpersonal skills - being able to liaise at all levels to develop strong relationships with internal and external customers.

Candidates will need relevant professional qualifications (ICA Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance or equivalent). The role is based in Sevenoaks, widely considered one of the most vibrant parts of Kent and renowned for its natural beauty.

Benefits Include-

  • An attractive salary (DOE).
  • 23 days holiday rising with years of service + options to buy/sell additional holiday.
  • Hybrid working flexibility.
  • Online discount portal.
  • Life Assurance.
  • Private Medical insurance and health cash plan.
  • Employee assistance programme.
  • Interest-free season ticket loan.
  • Self-invested pension.

Please apply for the role by submitting your most up-to-date CV. If your application is successful, we will be in touch within 2 working days of receiving your job application to discuss the opportunity in more detail.

At Insure Recruitment, we work with clients who are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace. So, if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification or criteria in the above description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be exactly what we’re looking for in this or other roles.
