The Opportunity
We’re partnering with a growing, digital-first insurance intermediary to appoint an experienced Compliance Manager on a part-time basis.
This is a standalone, senior role offering full ownership of compliance across the business. It’s ideally suited to someone operating at Head of Compliance level who’s looking to transition into a flexible, reduced-hours position without losing influence or responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the compliance and regulatory framework
- Ensure adherence to FCA requirements (ICOBS, Consumer Duty, etc.)
- Act as the main point of contact for regulatory matters
- Oversee:
- Compliance monitoring programme
- Financial promotions approval
- Complaints handling & conduct risk
- Product governance (PROD)
- Provide pragmatic, commercial compliance advice to the business
- Support ongoing growth, new products, and distribution channels
- Liaise with insurers, partners, and regulators
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a Compliance Manager or Head of Compliance role
- Insurance sector experience (essential)
- Broker / intermediary experience (highly desirable)
- Strong understanding of FCA regulations (ICOBS, SYSC, PRIN, Consumer Duty)
- Experience operating autonomously or in a standalone capacity
- Commercial, pragmatic approach to compliance
The Ideal Candidate
- Looking for a long-term part-time role (~50%)
- Comfortable in an SME environment
- Happy to be both hands-on and strategic
