We are looking for your background in Pensions Administration and strong experience of compliance for this rare and exciting opportunity to be a part of one of the leading financial services Operations Monitoring team.

Alternatively, you have a strong knowledge of compliance with FCA regulations and are looking for a transition to a compliance-focused position.

This is a Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover) potentially commencing from April/May 2023 with a view to extension.

As a Compliance Analyst, you will be based in our client’s picturesque and modern offices for 2 days a week and 3 from home, some of the fantastic benefits include-

To be successful in this role, you will need-

  • Experience within a Compliance Function, ideally within an analytical type of role.
  • Effective planning and analytical skills.
  • Experience in interpreting and applying MiFID regulation to a financial services firm (desirable).
  • Good knowledge of investment products and platforms.
  • Good knowledge of relevant FCA rules and their interpretation/application.
  • Highly developed analytical, observational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office programs.

As a Compliance Analyst, you will provide assurance, advice, and guidance to support compliance with the firm’s regulatory obligations, your responsibilities are not limited to-

  • Running and analysing regular exception control reports which are aligned to regulatory and internal standards and escalating any potential shortcomings to the Compliance Manager.
  • Complete enhanced due diligence and monitoring processes including risk assessments.
  • Compliance with administrative tasks.
  • Conducting trend analysis through daily tasks to identify potential issues or improvements.
  • Act as the first-line escalation point for compliance queries.
  • Assist with projects and ad-hoc tasks as required by management.
  • Attend meetings and act as compliance representation / compile minutes where required.
  • Identify and communicate system and procedure enhancements.
  • Maintain up-to-date CPD records demonstrating that the skills and knowledge required to do the job are being maintained and enhanced.
  • Provide support to the Compliance Monitoring Officer in the completion of the annual compliance monitoring plan as directed by the Compliance Manager.
  • Work closely with the Group Financial Crime Manager and support the production of Financial Crime MI.
  • Assist with MI production, if necessary, as directed by the Compliance Manager.
  • Assist with breach administration, if necessary, as directed by the Risk Manager.
