Commercial Insurance Technician – Middlesex – Excellent salary and benefits DOE
Insure Recruitment are currently working with a highly established business who due to continual growth are seeking an experienced commercial insurance professional to join their team to deal with a broad spectrum of existing clients from a multitude of defined sectors and trades including; Construction, Manufacturing, Retail, IT Specialists and Global Businesses. Offering bespoke insurance solutions, they cover all classes of Commercial Insurance with premium levels up to £350,000. You’ll bring expert knowledge in these lines of business and be confident in providing a positive client experience at all times, as well as acting as a technical referral point to your team, on occasion
Playing an integral part of the Commercial Team, you will have responsibility for administering policies, liaising with Insurers and clients to find the best solutions, provide support to the wider team, including Client Executives and Managers and acting as a reliable and informed point of contact for clients.
Additionally, you will:
Handle a book of accounts with premium levels of £10k - £100k
Provide essential support to Client Managers
Negotiate with Insurers, place insurance policies, port/ liaise with clients, produce quality client documentation, carry out contract reviews
Manage renewals, some new business and mid-term adjustments
Grow existing book of business via up-selling/ cross-selling and referrals
Act at Technical referral point within team
Attend client meetings
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
You’ll have a solid knowledge of all Commercial products (including Property/ Business Interruption, Professional Indemnity, Liabilities and Cyber & Crime), and be able to effectively take ownership of our client base with positivity, passion and professionalism.
The successful Candidate will have –
Solid technical understanding of Commercial Insurance products
Considerable previous or current client handling experience & skills
Organisation, accuracy and attention to detail
Passion, energy and a strong customer service ethos
Effective, confident & considerate communication and an ability to adapt your communication style accordingly
Organisation, accuracy and attention to detail
Intuitive thinking and strong decision-making skills
Confident IT skills and ideally, experience of using Acturis
Educated to a minimum A Level standard, with GCSE/ O Level passes in English Language and Maths
Be Cert CII qualified as a minimum and have the desire to continue studying towards DIP and ACII
