Commercial Insurance Team Leader – Nr Guildford – up to £30,000 DOE

Insure Recruitment are currently working with a leading general insurer and financial services company which has a renowned reputation for serving the local community.

You will be fully supported with your progression through comprehensive, structured product knowledge and additional training for your own development. Furthermore, you will be sponsored to achieve industry qualifications.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

Promote trust, openness, honesty and fairness

Prioritising the team’s workload and allocating resource accordingly

Motivate and exceed business, team and individual targets

To assist with the management, coaching and mentoring of the team

Manage all ad hoc tasks as and when requested by the Manager

Deal with / escalate; any identified risks in line with competency and regulatory guidelines

Ensure all team members are performing to their best of their abilities whilst complying to company policies and procedures

Ensure all tasks and objectives are met with agreed SLAs fulfilling monthly targets/ MI

 

What our client is looking for -

Experience within the insurance industry (5 Years +)

Must have prior team management experience (2 Years +)

Minimum of 6 GCSE’s including Maths & English

An insurance qualification would be advantageous

Good verbal and written communication skills

Ability to multi task and manage your own work

Capability to coach and mentor a team

Decisive and inquisitive manner

Highly organised and possess strong planning skills

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines

Must be proactive and receptive to change

Ability to manage multiple, conflicting interests and deadlines

Enthusiastic, self-motivated and a positive attitude

Ability to problem solve
