Commercial Insurance Development Executives

This exceptional and exciting opportunity to join a fast growing, thriving insurance broking business is so flexible that it’s open to talented, dynamic goal-oriented candidates across the UK: you just have to be super-driven, highly motivated and hungry to be your own boss. And not afraid to earn some serious commission!

The company is passionate about its sphere of expertise, Commercial and SME insurance, and has built fantastic relationships with insurers. This is an empowering time for new joiners as it has hugely ambitious plans right now to scale the business.

Ideally, you will have relevant insurance experience. However, if you can demonstrate that you have solid contacts and introducer relationships in place, then they will definitely consider candidates who are totally new to the insurance sector. You’ll then get full support, and the company will invest in you, organising hotel accommodation during an intense week-long insurance training. Once that’s complete, you’ll then have the flexibility to be fully remote, work hybrid flex (if within commutable distance), or in the office (if local).

You’ll be given the reins, opportunities and authority to negotiate, so you have the autonomy to deliver your clients comprehensive and competitive insurance products and services that meet their needs. (There will also be the opportunity (when relevant) to cross-sell personal lines insurance.) 

You’ll be offered two salary options:

  • The first one offers £12k annual salary and you’ll be on a zero hours contract. That’s because you’ll have the opportunity to earn an exceptional, market-beating 50% commission on any income you generate exceeding £1k per month. (For example, it you achieve £20k income in a month, you’ll earn £9,500 in commission on top of your £1k monthly salary. Last year’s high earners were taking home in excess of £150k. This unique opportunity gives you the autonomy and incentives to grow your own book. Clients you bring on are yours to keep, nurture and support, earning you 50% commission when they renew. 
  • Alternatively, the company is also offering the option of a higher basic salary (£24k annual) with a 25% commission option for the first year to support you as you build your book. You then switch to the 50% commission model once you have built your client book. 

The working schedule is strictly Monday to Friday – your weekends are your own. You can expect a Christmas bonus and the benefits package is outstanding (including private medical insurance and monthly chiropractic sessions).

The team loves to get together, so they’d love to see you at their many regular get-togethers, and staff drinks/meals. In the newly refurbished offices, they operate a casual dress code and encourage a positive work environment (there are even pool tables and PlayStations).
