As a Claims Handler, your responsibilities include but are not limited to-

  • You will advise and update our clients on all events and discussions during the claim, ensuring complete customer happiness.
  • You will run claims efficiently and keep the system updated with all relevant information.
  • You process all claim notifications, further advice, and collections following our team’s procedures.
  • Providing necessary reports to the Account Executive on the claims history and other information prior to renewal etc.
  • Updates insurers, informing them of any additional information acquired during the claims process. Ensure that claims statistics and placing department or insurers on risk, are accurate and produced in accordance to SLAs.
  • You will be managing and maintaining the claims diary on the system as well as other databases.

To thrive as a claims handler, you will be required to have-

  • Technical and commercial insurance knowledge.
  • Confident telephone manner.
  • Excellent communication skills, being a Claims Handler you will be assisting customers with the best possible option and decision making.
  • Organised and systematic approach to work.
  • You are ready to go the extra mile to seamlessly execute the process of Claims Handling and administration.

  • Competitive salary, depending on your experience, circa £21k- £28k.
