We are currently recruiting an experienced insurance account technician to support the commercial account executives who offer comprehensive insurance service to commercial customers.
This will involve all aspects expected of an experienced account technician with the handling skills required, and include quoting and placing cover when instructed, inviting and binding renewals, dealing with mid-term adjustments, broking client requirements within the insurance market and providing assistance in all areas for your Accounts Executive(s) when appropriate. There is responsibility for collection of premium and arranging finance together with credit control.
The role has a requirement to be able to work independently and manage client requirements within the scope of a busy client book that spans all business sectors and classes of commercial insurance. This will include client contact and visits.
There is also potential to support the management of team members – you will be an integral member of the Portsmouth Commercial Team with varied responsibilities.
