We are partnering with a highly respected and growing specialist insurance business that is looking to appoint a Commercial Insurance Handler / Executive to join their expanding wholesale team during an incredibly exciting period of growth and transformation.
This is a unique opportunity for a commercially minded insurance professional who enjoys analytical, operational and technical insurance work, rather than a heavily sales-focused environment.

The Opportunity
Working closely with senior leadership and operational teams, you will play a key role in supporting and improving the day-to-day operational performance of the business.
This position would particularly suit someone who enjoys:
- Working with data, reporting and analysis
- Problem solving and process improvement
- Supporting operational efficiency
- Handling technically detailed insurance administration
- Using Excel and insurance systems to drive improvements
- Being involved in projects, change and business growth initiatives

Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the management and administration of commercial insurance portfolios
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to improve operational processes and efficiencies
- Producing and analysing MI, reports and operational data
- Supporting brokers and handlers with technical insurance administration
- Assisting with system improvements and workflow processes
- Handling complex queries and ensuring high service standards are maintained
- Supporting compliance and FCA requirements across the business
- Building strong working relationships internally and externally
What We Are Looking For
- Previous insurance industry experience is essential within either commercial or HNW / non-standard insurance
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills highly desirable
- Acturis experience preferred, particularly strong system users / super users
- Adaptable and positive approach to change and growth
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment
