An industry-leading and highly respected insurance broker is seeking a Commercial Account Handler to join its long-standing Cardiff team!
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced commercial insurance professional who enjoys working closely with clients and Account Executives in a supportive office environment. As a Commercial Account Handler based full-time in the office, you will play a key role in supporting up to two Account Executives at any one time, ensuring the smooth day-to-day servicing of a varied commercial client portfolio.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business administration.
- Preparing accurate documentation and presentations for insurers and clients.
- Liaising with insurers, underwriters, and internal stakeholders.
- Supporting Account Executives to maintain high retention levels and excellent client outcomes
- Ensuring compliance with FCA and internal standards at all times
- Building strong, professional relationships with clients ranging from SMEs to senior decision-makers.
About you:
We are keen to speak with candidates who have 3+ years of experience in commercial insurance, ideally with exposure to a broad range of risks. However, our client is very open-minded on background. You may come from a broker environment, an insurer or MGA, or a commercial claims background looking to transition into a broking role!
What matters most is your transferable skillset, commercial awareness, attention to detail, and willingness to continue developing your career within a broker environment.
You will bring a solid understanding of commercial insurance products and processes, strong organisational and administrative skills dealing with clients and insurers. A proactive, team-focused approach with a desire to learn and progress professionally.
