We have a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Account Handler to join a global leader in the insurance industry. This new role is a direct result of business success and our client’s commitment to internal career growth.
You’ll become a key member of their Premier team of 13 in Brierley Hill. This is your chance to hone your skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and make a tangible impact within a leading, global business.
What you’ll do:
- Handle a portfolio of approximately 250 commercial clients with premiums over £5,000, ensuring exceptional service and high retention.
- Drive the MTA & renewal process, sourcing the best products from the open market to secure comprehensive coverage for your clients.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and strengthen client relationships while consistently upholding compliance standards.
- Advise clients on a wide range of commercial insurance, including combined, D&O, liability, property, and fleet.
- Liaise with third-party insurers, follow up on quotations, and maintain accurate records in the Acturis system.
What we're looking for:
- At least 2 years of commercial insurance experience in either new business or account handling.
- A broad understanding of commercial classes of insurance.
- A proactive, results-driven professional with strong negotiation, planning, and communication skills. You have a sharp commercial mind and exceptional attention to detail.
- Acturis experience is highly desirable, though training can be provided.
Beyond a competitive salary (DOE), you'll also receive:
- 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), with the option to buy up to 5 extra days. (Holiday will rise with 2 years’ experience up to a maximum of 27 days + bank holidays)
