This is a brilliant opportunity to join their long-established and expanding team as a Commercial Account Handler. You'll work in a vibrant, supportive office, surrounded by experienced professionals.

This role offers unique exposure to the holiday homes and caravan park sector, covering their business insurance needs and exposure to D&O, liability, property and motor insurance. You'll be placing business through delegated schemes with three leading insurers. 

For your first six months, you'll be fully office-based, ensuring you get all the support you need to integrate seamlessly. While Acturis system experience is a plus, it's not essential; they're keen to find someone with the right attitude and strong foundational skills.

The role duties include:

  • Collaborate with account managers and account executives to understand client needs and create tailored insurance solutions.
  • Efficiently manage renewals, preparing submissions and negotiating terms with insurers to meet retention targets.
  • Process mid-term adjustments and policy endorsements accurately.
  • Placing business through their delegated schemes with three leading insuers. 
  • Build strong relationships with clients, insurers, and internal teams, ensuring exceptional service.
  • Oversee a diverse portfolio of commercial accounts, managing client needs effectively.

What we are looking for:

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of commercial insurance experience OR be CII qualified with personal lines insurance experience.
  • Excellent numeracy and maths skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities, able to prioritise in a fast-paced setting.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication.
  • A proactive, ambitious attitude, eager to learn and develop within a supportive team.
  • Demonstrated professionalism and high ethical standards.
