We're seeking an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join a well-established and growing corporate team in the heart of Chichester. This role offers fantastic hybrid flexibility, with 2 days in the office (Mondays and Wednesdays) and 3 days working from home.
As a Commercial Account Handler, you will be an integral member of a team dedicated to delivering customised business insurance and effective risk management solutions to large corporations and multinational companies. Reporting to the Broking Manager, you will collaborate closely with seasoned Account Executives to deliver exceptional customer service.
Your Responsibilities will Include (but are not limited to):
- Creating documents for new clients, handling mid-term adjustments and renewal information.
- Ensuring all customer details are recorded accurately.
- Obtaining renewal terms for customers, exploring all options before providing the best available solution.
- Managing insurer and customer queries about their policies.
- Confirming cover with relevant insurers, processing policies, and chasing outstanding documentation when required.
- Dealing with account queries and credit control matters, highlighting any concerns.
Expectations & qualifications:
- Proven experience within a similar Commercial Account Handler capacity.
- Knowledge of lines of business such as Property, Casualty, Professional Indemnity, D&O, Motor Trade/Fleet.
- Prior experience handling corporate clients would be an advantage; however, experience handling SME commercial business will be considered.
- Risk-aware in handling customer information, 100% customer-centric, focused on the best possible outcome for customers at all times.
- Exceptional communication skills with confidence in liaising with all interested parties.
- Acturis systems experience would be advantageous.
