We are looking for a talented Commercial Account Handler to join a dynamic team! If you are an experienced Account Handler with a broad range of commercial insurance product knowledge then we would love to hear from you! Our client is an independent insurance broker located in Greater Manchester.

In this role, you will be an integral part of the Commercial team, supporting and working next to the Client Directors to ensure clients receive exceptional service in acquiring, maintaining, and renewing their policies.

The successful applicant will have experience in commercial account handling for a UK-based broker, this experience would have to cover a broad range of Commercial, with a transferable book of business, and prior experience handling premiums from £5,000 - £10,000 as a minimum, the commercial account handler will deal with SME to mid corporate level clients and premium levels up to £250.000.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, we are looking to speak to candidates who have a couple years commercial experience within a UK insurance broker.

Your duties will include:

  • Helping to support directors and account executives to hit company targets and smash personal KPIs
  • Streamlining document issuance to clients while maintaining close communication with insurers regarding any outstanding documentation
  • Advise insurers on mid-term adjustments and process necessary documentation for clients
  • Broker new business risks and refer queries to the Line Manager as needed.
  • Handle enquiries from insurers and clients professionally and efficiently
  • Liaise with insurers and underwriters to identify business opportunities and maintain relationships.
