As an accomplished Commercial Account Handler, who’s seeking a local, hybrid, client-focused position, we have an exciting job opportunity for you to work for one of the largest Chartered independent Insurance brokers in Middlesex!

Due to their success, and continued growth, they are looking for a well-versed Commercial Account Handler to join their thriving team.

As a Commercial Account Handler, you will have the opportunity to build and maintain strong relationships with a full portfolio of prestigious clients across a wide range of industry sectors, as well as liaise with insurers and service providers. Your responsibilities are not limited to-

  • Liaising with clients and responding to queries in a professional and timely manner, providing technical, industry and subject matter expertise where required.
  • Identifying opportunities for new business development to grow client portfolio.
  • Pro-actively developing appropriate solutions and proposals for clients to ensure client retention.
  • Responding to client queries, including changes in cover and risk in a professional and timely manner.
  • Handle renewals, mid-term adjustments in a timely manner.

To be successful in this role, you will require-

  • Previous experience (preferably within Commercial Insurance).
  • Achieved CII qualification or studying or willing to pursue in the future.
  • Excellent relationship-building/ retention skills.
  • Previous experience of handling and managing a portfolio of clients across the industry.
  • Good quality correspondence.
  • Strong network-building skills.
  • IT proficiency.
