Our client is seeking a Commercial Account Handler to join their team to develop successful and profitable relationships with both clients and underwriters.
You will handle a portfolio of Commercial clients from quotation through to placement. You will build excellent relationships with clients and Underwriters to ensure best premium and coverage.
Skills & Knowledge:

FCA Compliance Procedures and Due Diligence

Money Laundering Rules

Principles and practice of insurance and their application

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
Duties:

Handling and processing both new and renewal business

Preparing presentations for clients and Underwriters

Negotiating premiums and Coverage

Placing the Business
-
Processing cover notes, debit/credit notes, and any other technical documentation
Essential:
You must have Commercial Account handling experience with an exposure to Financial Lines.
Desirable:
Cert CII qualified
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 9.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m.
Salary: Up to £35,000 DOE
