Commercial Account Executive

What the role involves
As a Commercial Account Executive, you’ll take ownership of a VIP portfolio of corporate clients, generating approximately £500k in income across c. £3m GWP. The book is well‑established and varied, offering a broad and interesting mix of risks. Alongside managing renewals, you’ll continue to develop relationships, identify opportunities, and grow the book further.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Managing and retaining a portfolio of valued mid‑corporate clients (typically £5k–£100k).
• Providing expert advice across a broad range of risks including Professional Indemnity, Financial Lines, Technology, Cyber, Property, Commercial Combined, and Construction.
• Working with key introducers and predominantly London‑based corporate clients.
• Identifying opportunities for growth through cross‑selling and proactive relationship management.
• Developing new business while protecting and enhancing the existing book.
• Working closely with dedicated account handling support to deliver an exceptional client experience.

What you’ll bring
• Proven experience as a Commercial Account Executive managing mid‑corporate or corporate clients.
• Strong technical knowledge across complex commercial risks.
• Confidence managing VIP clients and long‑standing relationships.
• A consultative, client‑first approach to business development.
• Ability to work effectively within a hybrid working model.

• A base salary of £50,000 - £60,000 (negotiable) plus a very attractive bonus structure.
