Client Manager (Account Handler/Account Executive Mix)

Insure Recruitment is working with an Insurance Broker based in Bagshot to find an experienced and motivated Client Manager with a strong background in Commercial Insurance to join their team. 

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships, handling accounts, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction. 

This role requires a strong understanding of the broker market, and commercial insurance products and exceptional interpersonal skills to maintain and nurture client relationships.


  • Manage a portfolio of clients, serving as the primary point of contact for all insurance-related matters.
  • Utilise a comprehensive understanding of commercial insurance products, including but not limited to Commercial Combined, Fleet, Office, Shop, Professional Indemnity, and Management Liability.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, demonstrating a proactive approach to addressing their concerns and ensuring their insurance requirements are met effectively.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and insurers to negotiate and secure the most suitable coverage options for clients.
  • Provide timely and accurate insurance advice, policy reviews, and updates to clients.
  • Drive client retention and growth by identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities within the existing client base.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Commercial Insurance.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the broker market, including open market practices.
  • Strong familiarity with a range of commercial insurance products such as Commercial Combined, Fleet, Office, Shop, Professional Indemnity, and Management Liability.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.


  • Competitive salary starting from £35k to £55k (DOE).
