Job Title: Claims Team Leader
Reporting Line: Operations Manager
Job Objective:
- To lead and manage the Claims Team to ensure the smooth running of the department and the delivery of excellent customer service.
- To achieve the team's targets and objectives in line with company goals.
- To develop and train the team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality claims management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Claims Team, including workload allocation, performance management, and training.
- Provide advice and support to team members on claims management procedures and best practices.
- Liaise with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders to ensure claims are processed efficiently and effectively.
- Monitor the performance of the team and take corrective action as necessary.
- Develop and implement new initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Claims Team.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in claims management, preferably in a motor, liability, or property insurance environment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Additional Information:
- This is a full-time position based at our client's Maidstone office.
- The salary for this position is up to £35kpa based on experience
