Job Title: Claims Team Leader

Reporting Line: Operations Manager

Job Objective:

  • To lead and manage the Claims Team to ensure the smooth running of the department and the delivery of excellent customer service.
  • To achieve the team's targets and objectives in line with company goals.
  • To develop and train the team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality claims management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Claims Team, including workload allocation, performance management, and training.
  • Provide advice and support to team members on claims management procedures and best practices.
  • Liaise with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders to ensure claims are processed efficiently and effectively.
  • Monitor the performance of the team and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Develop and implement new initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Claims Team.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in claims management, preferably in a motor, liability, or property insurance environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Additional Information:

  • This is a full-time position based at our client's Maidstone office.
  • The salary for this position is up to £35kpa based on experience
