Insure Recruitment is excited to be supporting a leading global insurance broker in their search for a Claims Handler to join their highly regarded team in Gloucester!

The opportunity
You will become the trusted point of contact for policyholders, guiding them through the claims journey with clarity and care. From first notification through to settlement, you will ensure every claim is handled efficiently while keeping clients fully informed and supported at every stage. You will also gain valuable exposure across the wider broking operation, working closely with Regional Account Managers, Broker relationship teams, Insurers, recovery agents and solicitors.
What you will be doing?
- Acting as the first point of contact for clients.
- Managing claims from notification through to settlement.
- Liaising with insurers and external partners to progress claims efficiently.
- Maintaining accurate records and diary management.
- Developing technical knowledge and staying up to date with market and regulatory changes.
What we are looking for:
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Experience handling claims (desirable but not mandatory as full training can be provided).
- Natural empathy and the ability to support clients during sensitive situations.
- Strong organisation and attention to detail.
- A proactive and team-focused mindset.
- Willingness to build a long-term career in insurance claims.
