We have a fantastic job opportunity for a New Business Professional to join an established & successful Insurance business to help support the business identify and develop introductory relationships with Commercial Insurance Clients including but not limited to Hospitality, Hotel chains, Property Owners, Manufacturing, Retail etc portfolios. 

The role will involve business development, marketing, social media, creating outbound/inbound marketing campaigns, networking, attending trade shows, exhibitions, events, attending client meetings and entertaining clients.  

Ultimately the job purpose is to help generate new Commercial opportunities in order to develop the Insurance businesses Commercial and Bespoke portfolios. 

You will Identify, call and network with prospects for commercial General Insurance products with £10k and over premium potential. You will also cross sell help identify potential to HNW insurance contacts. 

The successful applicant will be required to act with integrity within their limits of authority and comply with all relevant regulation.  You will support the insurance company in maintaining retention targets and supporting growth; whilst providing outstanding customer service and treating customers fairly.  

We are looking for driven, confident and well-connected individuals with business development/network/ relationships with the commercial business areas, listed above. 

Insurance experience is not necessary as product training will be provided. You will not directly sell insurance to customers and you will not provide any regulated advice as a part of this role as this will conducted by the established Account Executives/Directors 

The role will initially be office based whilst you are in your probation period (which is 6 months), once you are confident in the role you will have some WFH flexibility.
