Due to continued growth, their Trade Credit team is looking for a commercially driven Business Development Executive to win new clients and expand their portfolio.
This is a nationwide role with genuine flexibility on location for the right person, and a chance to join a passionate, specialist team that values strong market relationships.

Our client welcomes applications from proven new business professionals already in the insurance market, as well as sales-focused people from trade credit or closely related areas such as finance, banking, credit risk or wider commercial sales
What you’ll be doing
- Building your own pipeline of trade credit insurance opportunities
- Managing the full sales cycle, from first conversation through to onboarding
- Getting to know clients’ industries and risks so solutions are properly tailored
- Presenting the business’s proposition and negotiating with insurers
- Keeping up with market trends and spotting new opportunities for growth
What you’ll bring
- A proven track record in new business development (essential)
- If you’re new to trade credit, a real commitment to learning a new line of business
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills
- Ambition, drive and the flexibility to hit targets
- A customer-focused, strategic mindset
- A willingness to share knowledge and support the wider team
- An understanding of FCA regulation and compliance
