Don’t miss this opportunity to truly excel and discover real career satisfaction with a thriving leading specialist in legal expenses insurance (LEI).

We are working exclusively with our client searching for talented, motivated and ambitious underwriter with BTE (before the event) LEI experience to expand their highly professional and friendly team. Alternatively, candidates will need a strong legal background – either having worked as a legal practitioner and/or possessing a legal qualification (law degree, conversion or CILEx).

You will be working in a niche but vital section of the insurance sector, providing solutions to help leading UK law firms ensure they are fully enabled to provide the highest quality access to justice.

Focusing on managing delegated authority schemes, underwriting new risks and developing new business opportunities, you will be required to master and implement underwriting guidelines and demonstrate a detailed understanding of risk exposure and appetite.

This role would suit a strong team player with a great eye for detail and a proven ability to meet agreed objectives, deal effectively with customer service enquiries and operate well within the limits of stipulated procedure and authority.

The company believes in developing its people, and fully supporting - and providing - continual professional training and development. This includes payment towards CII or CILEx qualifications, study and exam leave.

In return, our client is offering a competitive salary and benefits package (on completion of probationary period) including generous holiday allocation, pension contribution and private medical insurance.
