We are assisting a top-tier insurance broker dedicated to delivering customised insurance solutions for a wide range of businesses that are seeking a Commercial Account Handler/Manager focused on ensuring first-class customer satisfaction and providing comprehensive commercial insurance coverage to their clients.
Your role is at the forefront of maintaining your book of business along with mentoring and sharing your expertise with less experienced team members. This role offers a hybrid flexibility working 2 days from home and 3 in the office based in Leicester.
Responsibilities include-
- Creating documents for new customers, along with any mid-term adjustments and renewal information.
- Obtain renewal terms for customers.
- Take care of insurers and customer queries about their policies.
- Confirm cover with relevant insurers, process policies, and chase up outstanding documentation whenever required.
- Take care of account queries as required.
In addition to strong commercial insurance knowledge and experience, you will have proven experience handling and servicing a book of clients covering a broad range of commercial products-
- Currently holding or working towards one of the Chartered Insurance Institute Qualifications, Dip CII or FIT would be an advantage.
- Previous experience in the insurance industry is needed, as is having worked to targets within a regulated, measurable framework and achieved SLAs.
- Risk awareness in handling customer information.
- Outstanding communication and strong negotiation skills.
