We are partnering with a highly respected client to recruit a proactive and skilled account handler to join their dedicated team. You'll be instrumental in delivering exceptional service, handling premiums from £250 to £3,000, with occasional support for bigger accounts.
What you'll be doing
As a vital part of this successful team, your focus will be on delivering excellent client service while ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
- Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships and respond promptly to client queries.
- Policy Administration: Accurately handle the full policy lifecycle, including new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
- Insurer Liaison: Work effectively with insurers to secure favourable terms and comprehensive coverage.
- Compliance & Records: Maintain meticulous records, strictly adhering to FCA regulations and Consumer Duty principles.
- Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, sharing knowledge, and continually seeking to improve service delivery.
Who we're looking for
We need a dedicated professional ready to hit the ground running and add value to this supportive, client-focused environment.
Essential experience & skills:
- Experience in a similar insurance account handling role or specialism (Personal Lines, SME, Property Owners, PI, D&O, or Cyber) is required.
- Knowledge of commercial insurance products and markets is essential.
- Proficiency with insurance platforms (experience with Acturis or similar systems is highly desirable).
- Strong understanding of compliance responsibilities, including FCA regulations and the practical application of Consumer Duty.
- CII qualification or a demonstrable willingness to work towards it with full financial support.
- Highly organised, proactive, and adaptable, with the proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
