Are you an experienced Commercial Account Executive with a strong grounding in Professional Indemnity? Or perhaps you're a driven PI Account Handler with new business experience, ready to step up into an AE role?
We're delighted to present a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Account Executive to join our client, a thriving and expanding insurance broker. You'll be part of a close-knit team in a vibrant office, ideally located in the heart of the City of London. This is an exceptional chance to inherit a substantial book of business and contribute directly to the continued success of a dynamic firm.
The opportunity:
You'll be responsible for a £400k income book of loyal UK retail mid-market to corporate clients. This diverse portfolio includes:
- 50% PI-led clients
- 10% Financial Institutions (FI), ranging from £50k to £500k GWP, including small banks, IFAs, wealth managers, and payment processors.
- The remainder of the book encompasses Property, Tech, and Marketing companies.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Cultivating and nurturing strong relationships with an existing loyal client base to ensure high retention rates.
- Proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to grow the assigned book, supported by a generous commission incentive.
- Collaborating with and assisting in the management of the dedicated Account Handlers within the team.
- Conducting regular meetings with both clients and key insurers.
What we're looking for:
- Currently working as an Account Executive with a solid background in Professional Indemnity (PI).
- Strong all-round commercial insurance knowledge is essential.
- Aspiring PI-focused Account Handlers with confident communication skills and a proven new business drive are also strongly encouraged to apply.
- Client Focus: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships across mid-market to corporate accounts.
- Technical Knowledge: Experience with Financial Institutions (FI) clients is highly desirable.
- Systems: Experience with Acturis systems.
Enjoy a flexible working pattern with 3 days in the London office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and 2 days working remotely (Monday, Friday), dependent on business needs.
